PFC Needs You!

This is my church.
We need a pastor.
Our pastor of 15 years left 2 years ago. We've been blessed with some great speakers each Sunday, but now our interim pastor is going full time up the road. Our search committee has been meeting every other week to edit our profile. The following is the description of our church building:
Our church building, built in 1917, has a full, unfurnished basement with oil forced hot air heat. On the main floor there is a vestibule, a fellowship room, and the sanctuary. The sanctuary has an Estey antique pipe organ, installed in 1920, as well as a piano, a choir loft and the pulpit. Rows of pews fill the sanctuary; additional seating can be added in the back of the church and through double doors to the fellowship room. The upstairs of the church has a small bathroom, a small room that is occasionally used as a nursery and a larger room with windows that can be opened to the sanctuary below. Currently this room is used for “projects” such as the Operation Christmas Child. It has been used in the past for Sunday School, Bible study, and meetings. The church has a carillon that is in need of repair. There is very little land around the church.

This is our sanctuary. Yes, that is a dove above the cross. When the sun hits the beautiful stained glass windows it shines the dove at the front of our sanctuary. Right now I am sharing the responsibility of music coordinator. I play that organ every other Sunday. The pews are filled with an average of 20 people each week. Our largest demographic is the people who are 50 - 64. Following closely by the 75+. We are desperately seeking a young family to come in and help bring our community together through the love of Christ.

This is our parsonage. It is directly across the green from the church. The following is the description in our profile:
Our parsonage is a 19th Century home, across the village green from our church. The back yard has shade trees and room for flower and vegetable gardens. There are four bedrooms, one and a half baths, dining area, living area, office, and a one-car garage with an attached storage barn. There is laundry hookup in the main floor bathroom. There is a fairly large eat-in kitchen with plenty of counter space and cabinet storage. Off of the kitchen is a walk-in pantry, and also an enclosed porch. The basement is fieldstone. Heat is provided with an oil hot air furnace and with a wood stove in the living room.
The parsonage is in the process of being renovated. This includes all new exterior windows, resurfacing and painting all the interior walls, ceilings, and woodwork, and refinishing the floors. Both bathrooms will be updated with new fixtures and flooring. The kitchen will have new flooring, refinished cabinets, and freshly painted walls.
