Christmas Eve is always such a whirlwind of a night. Church was really lovely though. Gordon and Geoffrey helped light the advent wreath. Geoffrey enjoyed the trumpet playing and all the singing. We even ended the service with a candle-lit circle singing all 4 verses of Silent Night. It's always so comforting singing with a huge group of people...celebrating such a wonderful occassion. This family photo is about as close as we could get. Like I've previously posted...we're not the most photogenic family. But Geoffrey was so cute in his plaid tie and corderoy suit-coat!

My dad didn't play Santa for the town this year so we don't have any Santa pictures...and this one could have been great if G hadn't found the pilates ball somebody gave him. But cute w/ the hat and my dads tie anyway.

He's almost 2....did you forget? This is what we imagine the "I want to wait for Santa to come" phase looks like.
