Golden Birthday

I turned 26 on the 26th.
My schedule worked out so nicely that I was able to have breakfast w/ Gordon and Geoffrey for the second year in a row. I had baked 120 cupcakes to take to school too. They were tiny little cupcakes. The kids were surprised but thankful. The teachers loved them....they were so small they were guilt free. ;)

Gabrielle got me tickets to the Boston Brass (www.bostonbrass.com) at Castleton. Gordon and my dad got to come too. Some of my family had gotten tickets too so it was fun to see them. The concert was fantastic! We were right down in the front so we could see the veins in their heads when they played high notes. The new 1st trumpet is from Costa Rica...he's very Mariachi and cool. The new trombone player used to be in the Air Force band. He played Euphonium on some of the pieces so Gordon thought that was cool. We were fortunate to have Gabrielle's friend, Heidi, come up and play with Geoffrey while we went to the concert. It was a fantastic birthday!

Saturday was really lovely. Gordon had to work. Grandpa didn't so he went and got Gramp's tractor. He fixed our driveway. It needed to be raked so the mud bumps would go away. Geoffrey had fun sitting up on the tractor and making motor sounds as he turned the wheel. He tried pushing and pulling all the buttons and levers but thankfully that didn't work.

This was the last little bit of snow on our lawn last weekend. I'm glad to report that all the snow is gone now. Geoffrey can run around the yard all he wants now. He discovered puddles yesterday so that was pretty funny. My cold seems to have gone away enough for me to breathe for the most part. May is off to a great start. HUGS to everyone.
