So, this is what happens when I go back to school...I take lots of pictures but never have time to post them on here. Here are a bunch from the last two weeks.
We finally got snow!!! We put G in the backpack, put on our new snowshoes, and headed out towards camp to enjoy the lovely new snow. Luckily, we didn't see any bears. G had a nice time looking at all the trees and figuring out how to walk through that white stuff.
We enjoyed a lovely new years party at the Briggs'. The Cunninghams were home from Michigan. Britta was home from New Hampshire. The Getty's were home. The Clough's were up from Massachusetts. Mike came up too. Geoffrey had fun eating olives and trying to get other people to let him get in trouble. Thanks Annie!
We had to take Geoffrey to Maine before he turned one so we went last weekend. It was pouring rain when we left Vermont. By the time we got to Congdon's in Wells that rainbow was waiting for us! It was perfect. Geoffrey was our number holder while we waited for a table. He even tried some of Gordon's lobster omlette. We drove to the ocean but it was high tide so there was no place for us to stroll. G had fun watching the crazy seagulls in the sky. We took him to the real LLBean. Other than clocking himself on the mirror while Grandpa tried on slippers...he had a pretty fun time. We went to the kids department and over to the shoes...he took his shoe off like he wanted to try on the ones I was looking at. Hmm. We ended our east coast adventure with dinner at Newick's. (of course) He only wanted to eat the crackers. It was a great day.
So, despite how cute he looks OSU lost. :(
He made it through the 1st quarter.
Grandpa and I dozed off a few times but made it till the end. I'm not sure why we bothered it was pretty bad...but the band was great so it was worth it. That double script Ohio was INCREDIBLE!
Well, we enjoyed a lovely evening last night at Rutland Town. The FOM finally decided to dedicate the bandroom to our Mom. The ceremony was lovely, the plaque was perfect, and the desserts were yummy. It was great to see all the friendly, familiar faces. So many memories everytime I was through those doors. Thanks to all those that planned the wonderful evening.
Hope everyone is well. We're gearing up for G's 1st b-day next Tuesday. Today was his last Wednesdsay as a 'baby'. Hugs to everyone!
