We started the day by visiting Grandma Freda - She's the mom of my dad's best friend. We always go visit her when we visit and this time she got to meet Gordon and Little G. They got along fabulously!
Then we went for our traditional meeting at Olive Garden in Lima w/ the Crew family. It was super fun this year b/c we got to meet Mark (the Tall One) and see Mama Crew. We couldn't keep Geoffrey occupied with breadsticks long enough so there was some screaming...but Gordon finished his gorgonzola steak & linguine just in time. We took LOTS of pictures after we finished the yummy food...
Geoffrey was so tuckered from all the screaming, walking around outside, and smiling for the cameras that he passed out in the car!
We avoided the crazy morning shopping and decided to hit a couple spots this afternoon. We needed to find Geoffrey some Ohio State clothing.....and I'm glad to say we were quite successful.
We ended the day by going out to eat with some of my family and then going back to load up all our stuff and say goodbye to my aunts, uncles, and dad. My sister and JR have already headed back to VT. We are planning to leave by 5 AM tomorrow. We'll see what happens with the daytime driving. I'm not sure I'll post tomorrow night. If we survive then I'll live to tell about it on Sunday. This last picture is for Gordon's older brother. It's a random store on the main shopping strip here in Beavercreek, OH.
