Gov'nah

Well, it's been a while since I've posted so we decided to add some more pics for you to see. Geoffrey has been doing great lately. The high pitch squealing is starting to subside...we're working on sign language instead. He had a great check up on Tuesday. He is a moose, but not nearly as heavy as I thought. He's leveled out for a while right now. He eats turkey, sweet potatoes, boiled carrots, banana slices, toast - pretty much anything. Gordon was digging through the closet the other day looking for his snowboard boots and Geoffrey wanted to help.
We are gearing up for winter around here. I miss the days where we could just grab Geoffrey and go. But now we're back to layering him and packing extra clothes and all sorts of things. He's got a great snowsuit (thanks Memere) and a cute pair of boots. We even found the pieces to my runner sled from when I was a baby so he can have a sled this year too.

Last weekend Gordon and I were invited to attend the Castleton Chorale Fundraiser at the Holiday Inn. We had a delicious meal and bid on some fun items at the silent auction. We won a free night at a B&B in Woodstock. It was a nice evening...we dropped Geoffrey off at Aunt Ruthie's. They had a little party so everyone could see him. He slept like a rock that night! Plus it was a nice switch being able to dress up.

Last night was the big Rutland vs. MSJ game. Geoffrey had fun helping me get ready.I dug out my letter jacket and band sweatshirt and played with the band for the first half. Rutland won, of course, 39-20. The boys had a nice time schmoozing with Governor Jim Douglas. We've seen him before at some of our Town Band concerts and other random events. But we walked right past him, smiled, said hi, and Gordon shook his hand and had a little chat with him.

We've had a busy week and the weather is starting to get sketchy. Rain, snow, warm, cold, wind, still, etc. We'd love to hear from you so please write to us sometime. I start Messiah rehearsals next Sunday so won't have much time to update, but things are going well up here on Music Mountain. We'll post again next week sometime b/c we got a great little pumpkin outfit for Geoffrey to wear to the parade on Tuesday. Hugs for a great rest of the weekend!

Love the pictures. The weather isn't much better here in Rhode Island. We also have a runner sled with a back rest and handle for Mom and dad to push. You will have to bring it with you the next time you come down here. Have a great weekend
