Last night we took Geoffrey to his first Rutland Raider's Football game. We only stayed till half time b/c it was a bit chilly. But the Raider's won and Geoffrey got to wear his warm Raider hat.

Then today Gordon had to work and Grandpa Ron headed to Maine. So, Geoffrey and I did some laundry and played outside for a while. When Gordon got home we made room for a fouton that someone gave us. But because it was SO beautiful out today we went for a drive out to camp before dinner. As we were driving past the apple orchard I looked down and saw a bear! It was Gordon's first time seeing a bear in the 3 years he's been up here so of course he stopped and jumped out. He grabbed the camera and went to go shoot the bear. :-P Yes, he went and shot the bear....with the camera.

He had his slippers on b/c we didn't think we were going very far, but he ended up going down into the field so he could zoom closer. It was a teenaged black bear. He disappeared into the trees so we didn't get a very good look, but at least Gordon can say he's seen a bear now. He was really excited.
Hope you're all having a great weekend. Enjoy the sunshine! Get out and enjoy the fresh air....don't stay caged in!
